Please note that a reservation with the hotel concierge is required. The shuttle does not run at the above times if reservations have not been secured for pick up. The Shuttle Schedule is subject to change at any time and does not operate during inclement weather. The Hotel Shuttle is $25.00 per person each way for the transfer to and from the airport.

Guests departing the airport via hotel and car rental vans have been mandated by the Port Authority to drop off and pick up only at "Lot P4" at the monorail depot located on Tower Road. We are not permitted to go directly to the terminals. Guests will then access the monorail level via escalator or elevator and proceed to their respective terminal for departure.

1. Guests arriving at the airport must claim their luggage and take the escalator to the monorail level at each terminal.

2. The monorail will then take the guests to Lot P4 where they will take the elevator or escalator to the street level for van pick up. (Please note that this area will be unattended by airport personnel.)

3. We may be forced to circle the pick up area until a parking space is available since there are only 12 parking spaces for vans. Guests are encouraged to flag down the shuttle van since the area may be congested during peak demand periods.

4. The Lot P4 location is not near a taxi stand: if a guest misses a scheduled shuttle, they will have to return to the terminals via the monorail to obtain transportation.

5. The monorail ceases operation between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. for service and repairs. During this time, the Port Authority will provide a shuttle van from the terminals to Lot P4.

Advance Hotel Shuttle arrangements are required. For assistance with shuttle arrangements, or to schedule a shuttle pick-up from Newark Liberty International Airport, please email us at ernst@grandsummit.com. Regular operating times are 7:00 am-10:00 pm Sunday through Friday. The Shuttle does not run on Saturday. Please allow for a 20 minute grace period and call the hotel at 800-346-0773 to alert hotel of any flight changes on day of arrival. If delay is not after 10:00 pm, the next scheduled shuttle can pick you up. If after 10:00 pm, we suggest a cab be taken at an approximate cost of $65. Groups may fax shuttle arrangements to 908-273-4228 and follow up for confirmation. If you require transportation to a local corporation while staying at the Hotel, please make arrangements in advance. The hotel does offer a complimentary shuttle to select corporations in the area.
